I am delighted you have chosen to browse through our web pages and I hope that you will enjoy an insight into life at our school. At our school we have an enthusiastic team who are committed to high standards of education, care and behaviour. Our school caters for primary children, aged 2 – 11 years who have learning difficulties and additional needs.
The school is organised into Key Stage groups with a senior teacher coordinating each department. There are 16 classes each with a teacher and two or more special support assistants.
We are supported by speech and language therapists, physiotherapist and occupational therapist. The school has a school nurse and all pupils are seen regularly by the school doctor, the audiologist and orthoptist.
The pupils participate in many activities, many of which are specialised, such as hydrotherapy and riding. The school also prides itself on its links with the wider community through visits and links with other schools. Activities and events are organised by our friends in the local and wider community
Throughout the school calendar you will have the opportunity to share in the excitement of your child’s education. Do come and see the school for yourself, you will be most welcome.
