Hydrotherapy and Rebound
Manor Green Primary School has an on-site Rebound and Hydrotherapy Lead, who supports children through carefully planned hydrotherapy and rebound sessions, therapeutic programmes and targeted interventions. Therapy is delivered by trained staff and tailored to meet individual physical and sensory needs.
Hydrotherapy and rebound therapy are timetabled across the week and delivered in shared facilities alongside the college, ensuring consistent access to high-quality therapeutic provision. Children access hydro or rebound therapy when this is explicitly stated in their EHCP or recommended by physiotherapists or occupational therapists as part of their therapeutic support.
In addition to timetabled therapy, we offer termly 'Fun Swims' and 'Free Bounce' sessions for children across the school. These sessions are allocated through in-house referrals and provide further opportunities to develop physical confidence, coordination and enjoyment of movement in a safe, supportive environment.
This provision supports children’s physical development, sensory regulation and overall wellbeing, helping them to access learning with increased confidence and independence.
