Forest School at Manor Green

Forest School at Manor Green is a child-centred, inspiring learning experience that supports children’s development through regular outdoor sessions. It is a long-term approach that encourages play, exploration and carefully supported risk-taking in a natural environment.

Through hands-on activities, children build confidence, independence and self-esteem. They are given opportunities to explore, problem-solve and follow their own interests, helping to support their emotional, social and physical development.

Children may use a range of tools, all taught safely and appropriately by trained staff. All Key Stage 2 classes access Forest School weekly, and Key Stage 1 children experience Forest School during the summer term.

Manor Green has a dedicated Forest School Lead and Forest Schools space on site, ensuring high-quality, safe and engaging outdoor learning for all children.
