Welcome to all of our new children and families at Manor Green Primary, and welcome back to all of our returning children, their families and our new staff. We are all looking forward to another exciting and enriching year at school. We know that moving to a new school, or a new class can be an anxious time for the children, but we work hard to make it a positive and fun experience. If you have any concerns please don’t hesitate to speak to your child’s class teacher—or any other member of staff.

We would urge you all, if you have not already done so to register with Parentmail PMX, and also to let us know your e-mail address. Parentmail is the most efficient way for us to communicate with you, especially in unusual circumstances such as unscheduled school closures. You can also pay for school dinners on line, and receive all letters and information instantly. To activate your account follow the link you will have been sent directly from Parentmail PMX.

The school site becomes very congested at drop off and pick up times. We ask you please to be patient and follow Clive’s directions to keep things moving smoothly. You may find it easier to park off site at busy times. Please don’t park in the layby right outside the school as we need to prioritise this space for the minibuses.

Do you have any wood or plastic offcuts at home that you would like to off load? If so we would love to have them for our new DT project. Please leave them in the big silver bins in reception. Many thanks.

If you still need new school uniform please contact Zoe at Taylor Made Uniforms on 01403 250644. We also have some items of second hand uniform available in the office if you would like to come in and have a look.

Often at the beginning of term there can be a few hic-ups or delays with school transport as everyone gets used to new routes and traffic hotspots, but these problems are usually quickly resolved.
If you need to contact the travel team at West Sussex County Council call 01243 753533.
