Welcome back everyone and Happy New Year. We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and break from school. We have lots of exciting and fun learning opportunities planned for this term, including Science Week in February.

The spring term always has the greatest risk of disruption to school due to bad weather. If you have not already signed up to Parentmail may we encourage you to do so. This system enables us to contact you by e-mail and text at the earliest opportunity if any changes need to be made to the school day. For more information please speak to Maureen or Louise in the office.

Do you feel that you need some help and support to access the right DWP benefits? Aiming High and West Sussex County Council are funding a Benefits Advisor to offer help with DLA, Income Support, Incapacity Benefit, Housing Benefit, Employment Support Allowance, Tax Credits etc. His is Robert Hayes, you can contact him at CDT, Room 41 Durban House, Durban Road Bognor Regis PO22 9RE or email him on robert.hayes@westsussex.gov.uk Mobile: 07850240874. Nicole Goodman at Manor Green College will be holding a Social Story Workshop on Saturday 7th March – 9.30am to 4pm. If you would like to attend please contact Sam Bryant at the college.There will be a charge of around £10-£15 for the session.

Impulse Leisure at Lancing will be running rebound therapy and sensory soft play sessions throughout the spring term on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. For more information contact their reception on 01273 238111, or e-mail marketing@impulseleisure.co.uk

Laura Popkin, our physiotherapist has now returned following her maternity leave – she will be in school every Tuesday until Easter, when she will resume her normal days.

Kate Lunsdon, our new Occupational Therapist has also started this term. She is in school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you would like an appointment with either Laura or Kate please contact Max.

After School Clubs start next week on Tuesday 13th January. You should have already received a message confirming your child’s place in their chosen club.
