School dinners

These have gone up in price from £2.20 to £2.30. Please also bear in mind that if your child has moved up from Year 2 to Year 3, and they have been having universal free school meals you will need to start paying for school dinners. You can pay online through Parentmail (preferred) or by cash/cheque/card in the school office.

Social Media

You should have received a letter regarding permission for your child to appear on the new Manor Green Primary School social media pages that have now gone live. If you haven’t already done so, please complete and return the slip. Facebook and Twitter details below.

Parent/Carer Workshops

Manor Green College will be running six parent/carer workshops to promote a better understanding of autism for families. The aims of the workshops are:

  • To help develop a deeper understanding of your child
  • Explore current theories of autism
  • Help implement tried and tested strategies into the home
  • Help build parenting confidence
  • Help promote your child’s self management skills
  • Gain positive parenting experiences through success

The workshops start on Friday 29th September 2017 and are 9.30am to 12pm. The course costs £25. Please contact Sam at Manor Green College to request a place. Dates for the course are:

  • Friday 29th September
  • Friday 13th October
  • Friday 17th November
  • Friday 1st December
  • Friday 2nd February 2018
  • Friday 2nd March 2018

Uniform

If you need to get school uniform please call Zoe at Taylor Made (number below). Please ensure that your child’s name is clearly marked on all items.

Short breaks and fun days for disabled children and young people at K2 Crawley

Sessions take place from 10am until 3pm for ages 25 and under. Please ensure that children are accompanied by a parent or carer at all times.

Come and take part in a range of activities* including: boccia, trampolining, multi sports, wheelchair cricket, indoor climbing, swimming, bouncy castle/soft play and sensory art.

* A varied combination of the activities listed will be offered but are subject to change

All activities are fully supervised by qualified and experienced staff.

Cost: £12 per family or £10 with a compass card (please bring own lunch or purchase from the cafe). Half day option also available.

Book in advanced or turn up on the day.
