Phoning your child in sick
Please let the school know as soon as you can if your child is not coming to school that day on the number below. If we are not able to get to the phone, then please leave a message on the answering machine clearly stating your child’s name, class and reason for not being in school. It is important that you do not send your child into school until after 48 hours of the last bout of vomiting or diarrhoea.
World Mental Health Day—Wear something yellow
On Tuesday 10th October Manor Green Primary are supporting World Mental Health Day. 3 children in every classroom (mainstream schools) have a diagnosable mental health condition, and over 80,000 young people are severely depressed. By wearing something yellow this Mental Health Day, we want to show young people that they’re not alone when it comes to their mental health. We would like to ask all children and staff to wear something yellow to school on Tuesday to help raise awareness of mental health.
