Due to the high number of parents who have made arrangements with teachers to collect their children earlier than 3.00 pm, it is now necessary to tighten up on our security measures to ensure the safeguarding of all pupils in school. The office have been given a list of all children who have arrangements in place to be collected early. Although the office staff may know parents’ faces, it is difficult to know which child they are collecting and from which class. Office staff have now been instructed to check this carefully before opening the doors. We appreciate your co-operation and understanding of these measures.
Week commencing 15th October is Harvest Festival Week. If you would like to donate long life food items such as tins, rice, pasta etc. we will pass them on to local charities.
On Monday 14th November our school photographer will be taking pictures of the children. If you do not wish your child to have a professional school photo taken, please make sure their classteacher is aware.
Annual Reviews Meetings
Please make every effort to attend your child’s annual review meeting. If you cancel the meeting after the date and time has been confirmed we will unfortunately be unable to reschedule it due to the number of children in school. All necessary paperwork will of course still be submitted to the authority.
Please let the school know as soon as you can if your child is not coming to school that day on the number below. If we are unable to answer your call, please leave a clear message on the answer machine stating your child’s name, class and reason for their absence. It is important that you do not send your child into school until after 48 hours of the last bout of vomiting or diarrhoea.
