A big thank you to everyone who helped to make the Christmas Fair such a success we raised over £3,000. So whether you donated items to sell, baked cakes, helped with the setting up, selling and clearing away, or came along and supported us on the day thank you we couldn’t do it without you!

We had a visit from Sussex Police this week – the type of police visit we like. They have been fundraising for us and came in to school to present us with a cheque for £500!

After School Clubs. A letter will be sent home before the end of term detailing the clubs for the spring term. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis

You should have received a separate letter detailing the events in the last week of term. In brief they are:

  • Tuesday 16th December – Whole School Christmas Dinner and Father Christmas visits Manor Green Primary.
  • Wednesday 17th December – Class Christmas Parties and Disco

You should also have received your tickets for the Winter Shows next week. We have tried to accommodate everyone’s requests, but space is limited in the hall, so may I apologise if you haven’t managed to get quite as many tickets as you would have liked.

We are sorry to inform you that Claire Archer and Sam Richens, both from Little Acorns Class are leaving Manor Green Primary this term. Claire will be taking on a promoted role in Lancing. We wish them every happiness and success in the future.
Steve Smoker will be leaving us at the end of term to pursue his career as a paramedic, good luck to him!
Sarah Wiggil and Cheryl Gallon will be leading Little Acorns during the Spring and Summer term. They will be meeting with you at the start of the new term to discuss changes being made to the key worker system. We want the new way of teaching your child to be a seamless transition but if you happen to have any concerns please contact Sarah and/or Cheryl.

I am pleased to inform parents in Maple class that Jim Harvey will be joining Hannah’s team and Fiona Bromige will be joining Oak class during Chloe Thomas-Balk’s maternity leave.

Please can you ensure that all money being sent into school is in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with who it is from and what you are paying for.

Happy Birthday to you

  • Jake Tamilla in Beech Class
  • Aidan Hodder in Willow Class

We hope you all have a wonderful day
