Welcome back everyone to the second half of the spring term. There are lots of exciting things to look forward to this term. We started off this week taking part in World Book Day and celebrating Pancake Day, and we will end the term with a week of Easter Fun and Games.
Aspire Sussex offer a range of further education courses for adults, some of which can be accessed for free. Courses cover a wide range of subjects. For more information please call 01444 810721, or go to Aspire2BeMe@aspiresussex.org.uk.
There will be a series of Special Educational Needs Roadshows offering help and advice on how to use the “local offer” website, access short breaks, advice and support services, personal budgets and SEND information. The local events will be in Burgess Hill at the Children and Family Centre on Friday 3rd March, and at Crawley Library on Tuesday 4th April.
Comic relief – Red Nose Day Friday 24th March
We will be raising funds by having a “bad hair/non uniform day” and a bake sale – more details to follow.
If your child is unwell and will not be coming to school you must call first thing each morning and leave a message or speak to a member of staff. Please ensure you speak clearly, stating your child’s name, class and what is wrong with them. If your child has had any sickness or diarrhoea they cannot return to school until 48 hours after the last bout, even if they appear to be well.
