A great bit Thank You from comic relief—we raised £247.35, and a special thank you to Bonnie for arranging the Cake Sale.
Once again this year Sainsbury’s at West Green have been very generous by giving us gift vouchers that have been exchanged in store for Easter Eggs.
This is Freddie. We are all very proud of Freddie as he has been selected to train for the Disability England Football Team. Well done Freddie!
Next week we will be celebrating Easter. Please don’t forget to send in two eggs, one medium and one small. Please don’t name them unless your child has a special dietary requirement. No nuts please.
On Monday you should receive a new menu, which will start after Easter, until October. Lunch cost £2.20 per day unless your child is entitled to free school meals. Application forms for free school meals are available from the school office. In addition all children in Years 1 and 2 are entitled to a universal free school meal. To pay for your child’s meals you can send in cash or a cheque made payable to “Manor Green Primary School”, go online to ParentmailPMX, or pay in the office or over the phone by credit or debit card.
The Cherry Lane Adventure Playground is re-opening at Easter. Manor Green Children are invited to the neighbourhood open afternoon on Thursday 6th April, 3.15pm—6pm. The children on the student council were “consultants” during the planning of the project. For more information contact Vikki Fold on 01293 438565 or firstname.lastname@example.org
This week we have been celebrating Autism Awareness Week. On Wednesday we had a very successful coffee morning. Our lovely friends at Tesco’s supported us by donating refreshments and goodies. They have also kindly made a donation of Easter Eggs.
We have had special sensory activities going on all week, including a farm that came to us on Thursday. On the back of the newsletter there are some lovely photo’s of the children in Lilac Class exploring and enjoying the week.
Please remember to call and leave a message if your child is unwell and won’t be at school. If they have had sickness and/or diarrhoea they must stay off for at least 48hrs.
Happy Birthday to you
- Kyron in Juniper Class
- Serena in Elm Class
- Riley in Cedar Class
We wish you all a very happy birthday.
