Reminder to all parents in the event of school closure: if school is closed then a text message is sent out on Parentmail, our records show that ALL parents receive messages sent this way but please make sure you keep your details up to date by logging on to Parentmail. We DO NOT use our Facebook page to update parents on closures.

There has been a number of issues when pupil transport has not run, can we ask that parents call the school office to report their child’s absence in the usual way so we can record the correct information. Thank you and let’s hope the weather improves soon.

Apologies that school had to close early this week. We had to take advice and snow was expected Thursday afternoon. Thank you for your understanding as it is always a difficult decision to make regarding the safety and welfare of pupils linked to the advice from the Met office!

I am pleased to say that we did have a brilliant world book day including a whole school tea party! Photos will be on next weeks newsletter of all the fantastic dressing up and imaginative interpretations of pupils’ favourite characters.

Can I remind you of the importance of the Annual Review for your child and the need for you to complete the parent booklet. If you need any support with this, please do not hesitate to contact Amanda who will be able to support or offer support from one of our family support workers. It is essential that we have as much information as possible to ensure that the local authority have the correct information to update your child’s EHCP.

Apologies that we also had to cancel the Autism Support Crawley event on Thursday evening. As soon as we have another date and time we will let you know.

If there are any changes to your child’s emergency details, can you please make sure that the school office team has been informed as it is important that we have up to date information.

Happy Birthday to you!
