This week Manor Green Primary received a brand new minibus for the children! We are very grateful to Variety and Crest Nicholson, as without them this would not have been possible.

Please can parents and carers not use their phones in public places where the children are out on trips. This is for safeguarding and data protection reasons; it can also be off-putting to the children.

The disabled parking spaces on the school’s grounds are to be used the same way as they are in public; you can only park in these spaces if you have a blue disabled badge on display. Please do not use these spaces if this is not the case, as this is preventing parents and carers with disabled children from getting them in and out of their vehicles safely.

We will be supporting two great causes in March the Downs Syndrome Awareness day, which will require everyone to wear odd socks for a small contribution on the 21st March. We will also be supporting Autism Awareness week on the 26th March; the theme for the day will be decided by the student Council in due course.

The Friends of Manor Green are still looking for more friends to either join the committee or be willing to give up some time to support the Summer Fayre. If you are willing to support either, please can you
contact Natalie in the school office.

There are still a few places available for after school clubs please let your child’s class teacher know if you would like your child to participate in this.

Parents evening is next week on Wednesday the 7th February. This will give you the opportunity to discuss your child’s targets and progress.
