Safer internet day 2016 will take place on 9th February.
The aim of the day is to promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people. We would like to support this both at home and at school. To help you improve your whole families on-line safety at home we have added some e-safely information and resources to our website.uk We have also been recommended two other websites with support and information –
https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/parents and http://parentinfo.org

Please can we remind all of our parents/carers/governors and staff not to allow access in or out of the school to anyone, unless they are absolutely sure of their identity. Our protocol is that all visitors in and out should check in with reception/the school office before entry/exit of the building.

We have had a confirmed case of scarlet fever in school. The common symptoms are a pink rash, starting on the stomach and chest then spreading, a sore throat, severe headache and high temperature. If you are suspicious your child may have scarlet fever you must take them to your GP for confirmation and treatment. They must remain off school until at least 24hrs into treatment and they are feeling well enough to return.

Crawley Play Service will be running childcare sessions during half term at two of their adventure playgrounds. For more information please call 01293 438708 or visit www.crawley.gov.uk/play
