SUMMER FAIR

This Saturday, 28th June 12 noon until 3.00pm

Thank you everyone for all your donations of items for the Summer Fair.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday to join in all the fun!

Would you be interested in attending a workshop on Parent Training for those parents/carers of children with Autism at Manor Green Primary? We are considering offering parents/carers an overview of the techniques used for language and communication development with the focus on the specific language and social communication difficulties of children who have autism. We would also concentrate on specific areas/techniques such as: Intensive Interaction, PECS, object of reference, the use of visual aids, Attention Autism, Makaton and the use of an I-pad as a communication tool. If you would be interested in attending  information sessions on these subjects please would you reply via your child’s home/school
book for the attention of Julie in the office, thank you.

A couple of dates for your diaries!

  • 7th July–Creativity Week: Lots of creative, educational and fun projects going on around the school for all the children to join in with.
  • Monday 14th July-Sports Day: A letter will be sent home very soon advising you of the colour team your child will be in and timing for your child’s sports day activity.
  • Wednesday 16th July- Parent/Carer consultation evening: letters will be sent home soon.
This is an important part of the school calendar. We expect all parents/carers to attend a meeting with their child’s class teacher. This last meeting of the year is used to advise you of your child’s progress at school.

The Parent/Carer Support Group will be taking a ‘walk in the park’ on Wednesday 9th July between 11 and 1pm in Tilgate Park. Go along and join them for a relaxing walk in the park plus coffee and cake afterwards. To ‘book your place’ please contact Ann Boss on 0300 028 8888. thank you.
