This is David Bull. David is the stepfather of Riad in Lilac Class. Riad is so proud of his stepfather who has amazingly just run the Paris and London Marathons to raise money for Manor Green Primary. If you would like to donate you can do so by going to his JustGiving page here. Our thanks David for supporting the school.
We have been donated a RMS Pixi Buggy from an ex pupils family. If you think it would be useful to you and you would like more details please click here. It is in good condition, just needing a wipe down. It’s probably a few years old. It provides minimal postural support, but does have an adjustable backrest and footplate. It is collapsible and has an under seat storage sack. These buggy’s are very expensive to buy, but as it was given to us we would be happy to pass it on free of charge, maybe a donation to the schools fundraising would be appropriate.
The termly Speech and Language Coffee Morning will be on Wednesday 10th May, 9.00am—11am in the courtyard. This is an ideal opportunity for you to meet with your child’s therapist and other parents. If you would like to attend please can you complete and return the slip so that they can get an idea of numbers.
Next Friday (5th May) we would like all the children to come to school wearing striped socks in support of the Cri-du-Chat awareness day. If you can make a £1 donation we will pass it onto the charity. To find out more about Cri-du-Chat go to http://criduchat.org.uk/
The children and staff have all been very excited this week as we have been hatching chicks. So far eight of the ten eggs we started with have hatched. Our thanks to Claire (Oak Class Teacher) for arranging to have the eggs from the living egg company.
