Don’t forget – Monday 26th June is an inset day school will be closed for the children.

Emergency Closure – Tuesday 20th June

As you are aware we had to close the school on Tuesday due to a burst water main, that also affected other schools, businesses and private homes in the Ifield area. As we had no water we couldn’t use the toilets, wash hands or have drinking water, and the school kitchens had to close. I am sure that you appreciate that this is a health and safely issue and made it impossible for us to keep the children in our care. May we thank you for your support in collecting your children promptly, and apologise for the disruption this may have caused you. There were a few parents we had difficulty in contacting. Please can you ensure that the details we have are up to date, and that we have alternative contacts if you are unavailable.

Summer Fair

We raised an amazing £3500 at the school fair last Saturday. A great big Thank you to everyone for your support/donations/raffle ticket sales and prizes etc. etc.

Driving on the school premises

Please take great care and stick to the speed limit. The safety of your children is much more important than getting in and out quickly! Also please make sure that if you park near the school gates there is room for the busses to pass.

Although the mini heat wave seems to have passed I’m sure there will be more hot weather on the way. Please can you send in sun hats and sun cream for your child.

Sports Day – Monday 10th July

Please park off site. If your child is in the upper school you may take them home with you at the end of the event.
Lower School – 10am Upper School – 1.45pm
