If you are the parent of a year 5 pupil you should be receiving paperwork from West Sussex County Council within the next few weeks regarding your choice of secondary school for your child. The forms need to be returned to county hall by the end of July (the specific date will be given in the forms).

On Wednesday 8th June we will be celebrating the Queens 90th Birthday. The kitchen will be preparing a special lunch and we would like the children to come to school dressed in red white and blue. This is just a fun day—no donation required.

We have been informed that after half term Lady Margaret Road will be closed to traffic except for access to the schools and surgery. There will be no parking on the road and the one way access will be closed. This situation is likely to continue for approximately seven months, so may be a particular problem on days of increased traffic i.e. sports day, leavers service, parent consultation evening etc.

As we move into summer please don’t forget to send in sun cream and a sun hat, clearly labelled, for your child to use on the playground and for outside activities.

We will be having a coffee morning for parents and carers next week, on Tuesday 24th May, from 9am – 10am at school. This is a great opportunity to meet with other parents and carers. In addition Emma, the school physiotherapist and Kate, our OT, will be at the meeting.
