1st May 2015 newsletter

The Manor Green Primary School newsletter 1st May 2015.

Next Friday, 8th May we will be taking part in Cri du Chat awareness day. Cri du Chat (cry of the cat) is a syndrome caused by a missing chromosome. To raise awareness of the condition we would like all the children to wear stripy clothes, and if possible donate £1 to the charity.

Our Year 6 children returned today from their residential trip to Hindleap Warren. They had the opportunity to try out many new activities and had lots of adventures. They all came back happy and tired, as did the staff that went with them!

If you have any concerns regarding your child’s physio or OT provision please speak to Max. Likewise if you have concerns relating to SALT please speak to Amanda in Juniper Class.

If you have changed any of your contact details please let the office know, then you need to log on to Parentmail2 and update your details – we are unable to do this part for you.

Scotts Cinema in East Grinstead will be showing an Autism Friendly screening of “Two by Two” on Sunday 10th May at 10.30am. Please contact the cinema directly if you would like more information.

Thank you for taking part in Autism Awareness “onsie” days. So far we have raised over £50, with donations still coming in.
