*WINTER SHOW* change of dates. We have had to change the dates of the shows, they will now be on Wednesday 7th December for the Lower School and Thursday 8th Dec for the Upper School. May we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

There will be a coffee, cake, information and networking meeting on 19th Oct 10.30am-1.00pm at Worthing Rugby Club. This is a chance to meet representatives from a wide range of support organisations, including benefits advisors, carers support, specialist health care and dentistry, the parent carer forum and many more. Next week is Harvest Festival Week. Please can you donate packets of seeds – especially carrots, onions, tomatoes and cabbages. We will be sending the seeds to Africa to support farmers and their families. In addition if you would like to donate any long life food items, such as tins, rice, pasta etc we will pass them on to the local food banks.

We will also be having our sponsored Welly Walk around the field on Thursday, again to raise funds for African Farmers. Please can you collect as much sponsor money as possible.

If your child uses PECS and you would like to know more and make some resources there will be a PECS coffee morning next Wednesday (19th) at the PECS offices in Brighton. For more details call 01273 609555.

Reaching Families has a series of training workshops for families across the county. The local one is Making Sense of Processing Difficulties, which is on Tue 17th Jan at Broadfield Community Centre. Reaching Families is producing a series of mini-films to help families with special needs children. The first film focuses on challenging behaviour, for more information go to www.westsussex.local-offer.org

Holly, Mulberry, Beech and Willow Class have been studying Pirates this term. They have been reading stories, learning songs and dances and looking at Maps. On Monday they made a pirate picnic and played pirate games.
