This week we have been learning about Remembrance Day and why poppies are an important symbol to help us remember the First World War. We have been painting and making our own poppies and created a beautiful display.

Amanda Preece, Class teacher in Juniper Class, has now taken over the role of Behaviour Lead. If you have any concerns, or would like help and advice regarding your child’s behaviour you can contact Amanda via the school office.

We will be making changes to the Annual Review process to reflect the change over from statements to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). You will no longer receive a progress report from your child’s teacher at the time of the annual review. Instead you will receive an annual curriculum report towards the end of the academic year. The Parent Comment Sheet will be replaced by the “Preparing for your Child’s Annual Review Meeting” booklet. It is very important that you complete this booklet with care as it will influence the contents of their EHCP. If you have any concerns please contact Max, Julie Tucker or Jan Smith.

The Manor Green Football teamWe sent our amazing football team to a tournament this week. They played brilliantly as a team and came 3rd, we are very proud of them. Well done!

Moving Barriers, sports for all club, is held at K2 every Friday, from 6pm to 7.30pm, for children from 6yrs upwards. A first taster is free, then £2.50 per session.

Crawley Play Service Stars Club has just relaunched and runs every other Sunday at the Millpond in Bewbush, from 10am to 12noon.
