Welcome, and Welcome Back, to all of our children and their families and carers. We hope  that you have all had a good summer break and are ready for the term ahead. This week everyone has been getting used to their new classes and teachers, whether you are new to the school or have been with us for a while. It is a very exciting time with lots of new friends and experiences. All of the building work has now been completed and two of our classes–Pine and Cedar are now located in the new wing.

Nuts! – May we remind you that we are a nut free school. We have children with severe nut allergies. Please make sure that any food your children bring in does not contain nuts in any form including peanut butter, nutella, cereal bars, cakes, etc. etc

We have a new physiotherapist joining the team at Manor Green. Her name is Emma Scarsbrook, and she will be in school on a Tuesday working alongside Laura until Half term. After half term Laura will be leaving us and Emma will then be in school three days a week.

Parent consultation evening this term will be on Wednesday 7th October. This will be an opportunity to discuss your child’s progress, how they have settled into their new classes and any other concerns with their class teacher. You will be sent details of your appointment closer to the date

Please can you make sure that all your child’s school uniform, PE kit and coats are clearly labelled or have their name clearly written inside. Without names we cannot reunite them with the correct child if they go missing.

There will be a Parent and Carer Event on Friday 16th October. There will be workshops covering–Sensory, Challenging Behaviour, visual aids, Sleep, Eating and Drinking. To book tickets and for more information go to Eventbrite page for Pace 2015, call 01903 726188or e-mail Email the West Sussex Parent Carer Forum Office.
